Privacy Policy

1. Controller

The controller of personal data is MUNAY s. r. o., Company ID (IČO): 55 788 254, registered office: Horepotoky 513/9, 033 01 Liptovská Porúbka, Slovakia. The protection of your data is governed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Slovak Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on Personal Data Protection.

2. What Data We Process

• Account data: e-mail address and password (stored in encrypted form).
• Dog and ration data: breed, weight, age, activity, ration composition. These data do not describe you personally but are linked to your account.
• Payment data: payments are handled by the payment gateway; we never see or store card numbers — we only record that a payment was made.
• Technical data: standard operational logs necessary for the App's functioning and security.

3. Purposes and Legal Bases

• Providing the service (analysis, paid solutions, account management) — performance of a contract.
• Sending the educational newsletter — your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
• Research and statistics on dog nutrition — legitimate interest, exclusively in anonymized form.
• Compliance with legal obligations (accounting, tax) — legal obligation.

4. Anonymization and Research — How We Do It

This is our key commitment: in research and statistical data you never appear under your name or e-mail. Every account is replaced in the analytical database by a random numeric identifier.

We evaluate statistics in aggregate — we care, for example, what percentage of rations lack iodine or omega-3, not who specifically feeds the dog. Research results may be published exclusively in aggregated form from which no person or individual dog can be identified.

We never sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing.

5. Newsletter

We send the newsletter only after you sign up, and it is educational — no aggressive selling. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link in the footer of any e-mail; unsubscription takes effect immediately.

6. Who We Share Data With

We share data only with processors necessary for operation: the hosting provider, the payment gateway operator, and the e-mail delivery tool, all under data-processing agreements. We do not transfer data outside the EU/EEA except where our processor provides adequate safeguards under the GDPR. We never sell data.

7. Retention Period

Account data are kept for the lifetime of the account and no longer than 3 years after its cancellation. Accounting records are kept for the statutory period (10 years). Anonymized statistical data from which you cannot be identified may be kept without time limitation.

8. Your Rights

You have the right of access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest, and the right to withdraw consent at any time.

To exercise your rights, use the contact e-mail. If you believe we process your data unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (dataprotection.gov.sk).

9. Cookies and traffic measurement

The App uses essential cookies for login and functionality. Analytical cookies are used only with your consent given via the cookie banner; you can change your consent at any time.

Traffic is measured by our own solution, without cookies and without third parties. We do not store your IP address — it is used only for a one-off country/region lookup and to compute a daily-rotating anonymous fingerprint from which you cannot be identified or tracked across days. We record anonymous statistical data about calculator usage (dog weight and age bracket, breed, bowl composition and nutrient coverage) without the dog's name, your e-mail, or any personal identifier. This aggregated data is used to improve the App and to research common feeding mistakes.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy; we will inform you of material changes in the App or by e-mail. The current version is always available on this page.
